Against a Doctor
1)Doctor’s Medical Negligence Proves in Gujarat State Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission.
A 27 years old Ramilaben Rathod mother of 5 children died of a kidney problem in the minor operation of family planning due to medical negligence of Dr. Jayntibhai Patel of Purha Maternity Bapunagar, Ahmedabad. Dr.Patel was sent to Sabarmati Central jail because he failed to honor the State Commission’s order over a year ago directing him to pay compensation of RS.2,50,000 for his medical negligence.
Against Tours and Travelers
1) More than 500 consumers got large Compensation from making my Holidays.
Make my Holiday had collected Lakhs of money in advance from the consumers for Goa, Mahabaleshwar trip during summer vacation. On the day of trip, the tour operator was already been ran away. And the Consumers came to us for justice and compensation. And we filed F.I.R. against Make My Holiday. That was their Unfair trade practice so we also filed a case under the Consumer Protection Act 1986 on behalf of the consumers. And they got compensation and justice. We have received large numbers of complaints about the same reason and they also got justice and compensation.
Against Insurance Company
1) The order to pay compensation for not paying Mediclaim
The Consumer Kaushikbhai Shah residing at Paldi, Ahmedabad having a joint health guard policy of RS.100000. He had suffered from cancer on his Left cheek. The Insurance Company rejected the claim saying that the consumer was suffering from hypertension and diabetes. Mr.Kaushikbhai came to us with this complaint and we filed a case. Then the Ahmedabad city Consumer dispute redressal forum order to pay 105000 and 7% interest to the consumer.
2)The Baruch District consumer dispute redressal forum ordered to pay Rs.1,75,000 to New India General Insurance.
There was an accident of insured Maruti van and repairing was not possible due to total loss. But the Insurance company rejected the claim on the salvage point. The victim Mr. P.C Gandhi came to us and we filed a case and forum ordered New India Insurance to pay Principal amount+ 9% interest+5000 as expenses.
Against Builder
1)18 months Imprisonment to the builder as he had not given possession of the plot to the consumer.
Builder Bhikhubhai Patel of Naroda, Ahmedabad has allotted plots to many consumers but after collecting lakhs of RS from consumer ha was failed to give possession to consumers. So the consumer’s complaint in the consumer protection and filed a case in the Ahmedabad Rural Dispute Redressal Forum. The Consumer Forum ordered to pay Principal amount (2.5 lacs each) + 9% interest to all cheated victim consumers.
2) First Landmark judgment against Builder for deficiency in service and earth quack victim consumer got the compensation of Rs. 10,00,000.
Dhirubhai Shah who resided at Vasna, Ahmedabad in Sharnam flat, his flat collapsed in the destructive Earthquake on 26-01-2001. He came to us and we filed a case in consumer commission and justice M.S Parikh ordered that builder pay RS 1000000+intrest+expances to the victim. After that, there are other such cases against builders in that victims got compensation and justice from us.
